Beta Phi Chapter Chapter at Centre College

Letter from the VP of Membership

Hi everyone!

My name is Stephanie Keller and I am the current Vice President of Membership for Tri Delta here at Centre College. I am so excited to share our sisterhood with you through this process! Going through recruitment was one of the best decisions I have made here at Centre and I could not be happier to help each of you find your home in any way that I can J

Tri Delta has pushed me to become my very best self by offering me a constant support system of women that I admire (and have a lot of fun with!) Each year, this support system has become stronger and stronger as I form bonds with my sisters. I am able to get to know so many incredible women through this chapter that encourage me in how they live out their passions each day.

When I went through recruitment, I was torn between all of the wonderful women I met in each of the five chapters on Centre’s campus. I felt lucky to go to a school where each chapter offered something unique to the campus, but it definitely made the decision more difficult. One piece of advice that helped me in my decision and that I want to share with all of you was: run home to the women that inspire you, run home to the women that you see on campus loving and leading with open hearts and they can teach you the same.

As a first year, I saw this so strongly in the fabulous women of Beta Phi. I ran home to women I was close with, but also some I just admired from afar and later was grateful to the advice and friendship they gave me. Two years later, I could not be happier with my decision. Not only did the women in the chapter at the time inspire me, but they continue to do so every day. When I was told this advice, I never imagined it would apply to so many underclassmen.  Looking around at our chapter today- I know I made the right decision. I am inspired by the dedication, love, kindness, and genuine souls that I see in Tri Delta, and I hope you are able to find women that inspire you as much as these do for me.

Recruitment can be terrifying, but we are just as nervous (if not more… I am definitely more) as you are! We are excited to answer any questions you have about what Tri Delta means to us or what helped us chose Beta Phi, so do not be scared to ask them! It’s a wonderful time to meet new women no matter where you run home.

If you have any questions at all about recruitment at Centre, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Rho Gamma or me!

I am so pumped to meet you all!

Have a wonderful semester!
